2. Data Protection & Grievance Officer
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we have designated a Grievance Officer to handle complaints from data principals.
- Role: Privacy & Compliance Lead (Data Protection & Grievance Officer)
- Email:
grievance@maildx.dev - Postal address: maildx Legal & Compliance, Tech Innovation Park, Kalyan, India
- Response commitment: acknowledgement within 3 business days, substantive response within 7 business days
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.
3. Exercising your data rights
You do not need to email us to exercise most rights — you can do it directly from your workspace:
- Access and portability: export all conversations, messages, tickets, and AI records for a data principal as a JSON archive.
- Erasure: permanently delete all records for a data principal. This cascades to messages, tickets, and AI runs, and cannot be undone.
- Correction: update inaccurate records from your workspace settings.
Both the export and erasure actions live under Settings → Compliance in your workspace.
If you would rather make the request by email, write to privacy@maildx.dev. We will verify your identity before acting, to avoid disclosing or deleting data on the strength of an unverified request. We will respond within the statutory period.
4. Support enquiries
For product questions, include:
- Your workspace name.
- The email address or conversation reference concerned, where relevant.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
Your first stop should be the processing log for anything involving a specific email. It records each pipeline step — receipt, parsing, retrieval, classification, drafting, and the final decision — so you can often resolve the question yourself in a minute or two. Our documentation covers setup, operating the review queue, and troubleshooting in detail.
5. Security reports
Report suspected vulnerabilities to security@maildx.dev. Please include reproduction steps and any proof-of-concept. We ask that you:
- Do not access, modify, or exfiltrate other customers' data.
- Do not run denial-of-service tests or automated scanning against production.
- Give us a reasonable window to remediate before public disclosure.
We will acknowledge your report, keep you informed, and credit you if you would like.
6. Abuse and IP complaints
Spam or abuse: forward the message to abuse@maildx.dev with full headers intact, so we can trace the sending workspace. We investigate every report and act on substantiated ones.
Copyright or trade mark: write to legal@maildx.dev with the work concerned, the material you believe infringes it, its location, your contact details, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised.

To set expectations honestly, maildx support cannot:
- Provide legal, tax, or regulatory advice, or tell you whether your use case is compliant.
- Advise on your obligations to your own customers — those are yours to determine.
- Recover data that has been permanently erased, whether by you or by the retention purge.
